For most of us, once a year we start to think about blowing the dust off our luggage sets, and heading off to somewhere hot and sunny for a couple of weeks. But although every single one of us could answer the question 'Where would you like to go on vacation?', when it comes down to discussing vacation and travel ideas, there's a lot more choice and options to pick from in this day and age, and at more affordable prices. With holidays to destinations all around the world becoming more affordable to the masses each year, the idea of your vacation being a simple 'two weeks away in the sun' has become less commonplace as more and more couples and families consider different options that just a few years ago were perhaps considered to be too luxurious or expensive for the annual vacation. So if you're not heading to the beach for a couple of weeks, where are you going to go? Well, one option is vacation lodging, while another option that is growing in popularity by the year is that of vacation cruises and cruise deals. Cruises around the Caribbean, the Gulf Coast, the Mediterranean Ocean and elsewhere have risen in popularity in recent years as prices drop. If the ocean isn’t your idea of a relaxing vacation, perhaps a city break is more your thing? Airline deals and airline tickets can be bought online months in advance, or you can get a late deal just a few hours before your flight is scheduled to depart. If you are jumping on a plane and heading to a city, or even a beach holiday, don’t forget to book your vacation car rental before you fly!
