multi purpose ELIR thermal system
The T14 is a robust grade multi purpose ELIR thermal system. It can be used in many ways such as a hand-held monocular or head mounted infrared system. This device has top mounted buttons which offer instant FLIR imaging polarity change, digital thermal zoom and 8 step brightness or contrast features. The T14 attaches to the standard US AN/PVS7 and AN/PVS14 helmet mounts or head mounts. It can also be used a compact thermal infrared viewer a thermal sight. This device has got the world’s first COTS thermal infrared imaging goggle, weapon sight compact viewer. The device is easy to understand and will not give you a chance to complain about being complicated. The hybrid focal plane array technology with coated milspec germanium optic, rugged housing and hardened and the best accuracy makes the device a must have. The sensor has 7-14 micron Uncooled amorphous silicon micro bolometer. The size of the device is length - 10.3cm, width - 8.5cm, and height - 5.0 cm. the weight of the device with the head strap is 550 Gms. +2 to -6 diopter is used as an eye piece. The field of view is 17 degrees * 12 degrees. Thermal sensitivity of the device is 100 mK. The resolution is 320*240 with 2D interpolation.
The equipment included is head strap, manual, eyecup, demist shield, and lens cover. This device is the most versatile weapon in thermal IR systems available. This device can also be used as a hands free goggle system, and also senses heat. The weapon mount is a base mount quick attach feature and drop compensator where as the helmet mount is used in the military night vision flip-up type helmet mounting system. The head gear that is the standard PVS -7 night vision goggle head mount with three brow pads.
